In 2016 Noise, a short film commissioned by Random Acts Network Centre North in partnership with Arts Council England, was selected by Channel 4 to be showcased as part of their First Acts programme: a series of films celebrating England’s most exciting 16-24 year-old artist filmmakers.
Noise explores feelings of anxiety, frustration, anger, suffocation and, ultimately, exposure and vulnerability in relation to the overwhelming noise created by the constant presence of technology in our lives.
